The purpose of this blog is to keep family and friends up to date on Ethan's service as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ethan left home on September 28th, 2016 and flew to Washington State to serve a full time mission for his church.

A mission for the LDS church includes teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, service in the church and service of all sorts in the community. The length of an LDS mission is two full years. We expect his return in September of 2018.

LDS Missionaries have little contact with family and friends in order to focus on their current position. Because of the limited time he has, a large portion of this blog is simply to update extended family, friends and those interested in missionary work with pictures, stories and experiences he has shared.
